Admission Conditions
Candidates eligible for the master's degree program are: a) Holders of a bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in the field of physical education and sports, and sports sciences; b) Holders of a foreign academic degree awarded following a first-cycle of studies organized according to the principles of the Bologna process by a participating state; c) Holders of a foreign higher academic degree recognized as meeting the objectives of a bachelor's degree by the competent statutory body; d) Individuals with a school, scientific, or professional background recognized by the competent statutory body of CUL as demonstrating the capacity to undertake this study cycle. Criteria for ranking: 50% Grade of the previous qualification 20% Field of study in the undergraduate degree or specialization (affinity with the master's area) 10% Participation in congresses and other events, presenting papers or posters 20% Professional curriculum in the field For candidates without a grade in the previous qualification, the criteria for ranking are as follows: Curriculum Assessment: 40% Field of study in the undergraduate degree or specialization (affinity with the master's area) 20% Participation in congresses and other events, presenting papers or posters 40% Professional curriculum in the field For candidates without a previous qualification: 100% Curriculum assessment

Objectives
Objectives
Being a trainer means to do the job in an appealing, even passionate manner with a high degree of demand. For its meaning and individual and social consequences, for the central place it occupies in sports development, competent trainers are required; Trainers with broad and deep knowledge and competences namely at the technical-scientific and didactic-pedagogic levels, in order to guarantee adequate training of the sports professional, whichever the circumstances or stages in his/her development. In a moment of searching solutions for the training of trainers at a European and national level, this Degree aims for giving a strong contribution to the definition and acquisition of competences, in function of the nature of the intervention: Training of young sportsmen or professionals. The curricular organisation (common and diverse), as well as the content of the Curricular Units, is based on a holistic conception of the sports training system, in respect to the singularity and specificity of the intervention situation.
