Resume

João Pedro Calado Barradas Branco Pavia obteve o seu doutoramento em Ciências e Tecnologias da Informação em 2022 pelo ISCTE-Instituto Universitário de Lisboa e no qual desenvolveu investigação no âmbito do desenho de esquemas de comunicação Terahertz para comunicações sem fios de velocidade ultra-rápida. Publicou 11 artigos em revistas especializadas, 1 capítulo de livro e 11 artigos em conferências internacionais. Recebeu 6 prémios e/ou homenagens. Atualmente é professor auxiliar no ISCTE-Instituto Universiário de Lisboa e os seus interesses de investigação incluem o desenvolvimento de novas tecnologias para a banda de Terahertz, processamento digital de sinais para comunicações sem fios, cibersegurança, big data e machine learning. Esteve envolvido como organizador local e revisor em várias conferências e simpósios. Sendo também revisor de várias revistas da área das ciências e tecnologias da informação.
