Resume

João Pedro Calado Barradas Branco Pavia obteve o seu doutoramento em Ciências e Tecnologias da Informação em 2022 pelo ISCTE-Instituto Universitário de Lisboa e no qual desenvolveu investigação no âmbito do desenho de esquemas de comunicação Terahertz para comunicações sem fios de velocidade ultra-rápida. Publicou 8 artigos em revistas especializadas, 1 capítulo de livro e 11 artigos em conferências internacionais. Recebeu 6 prémios e/ou homenagens. Os seus interesses de investigação incluem o desenvolvimento de novas tecnologias para a banda de Terahertz, processamento digital de sinais para comunicações sem fios, cibersegurança, big data e machine learning. Atualmente é professor auxiliar na Universidade Lusófona e investigador no COPELABS (Centro de Investigação em Computação Centrada nas Pessoas e Cognição). Esteve também envolvido na organização e dinamização de diversas conferências internacionais e atualmente serve como revisor para conferências do IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) e revistas do MDPI (Multidisciplinary Digital Publishing Institute), nomeadamente a Applied Sciences, a Electronics e a Sensors.
