Resume

Marta Capinha is a Clinical and Forensic psychologist working with perpetrators and victims of intimate partner violence since 2010. Completed her MSc in Clinical and Health Psychology - Speciality in Cognitive-Behavioral Interventions in Psychological and Health Problems in 2009 by the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences, University of Coimbra. Attends a Doctorate in Forensic Psychology in the same Faculty since 2019 as a Ph.D. fellow from Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT). Published 6 articles in scientific journals as an author (and was a collaborator in other 6), 2 books, and 3 books' chapters. Was a member of the Organization Committee for 6 events. Participated in 114 events. Participated in different roles in 14 projects. Her research interests are: Intimate partner violence; Domestic violence; Perpetrators; Victims; Intervention programs; Recidivism; CBT; and Evolutionary models.
