To deepen the introductory knowledge taught in the UC of the first semester of Introduction to Engineering and Industrial Management. Acquire multiple-order knowledge namely: how to organize a company and delineate the decision process. Organization chart of a company. Marketing plan. Define the processes of a company. Control Processes: financial, quality, production, logistics, commercial, marketing and communication.
Knowledge, abilities and skills to be acquired
The student, at the end of the semester, should have knowledge of how to prepare the company's organizational chart, define the respective processes, draw up and elaborate a marketing and communication plan, define the control processes and know the respective support tools (ERP , CRM, MRP, etc.). Have the skills and competences to identify the most appropriate tools to control the company in its various aspects, define processes and elaborate procedures of a company and outline a marketing and communication plan.
Teaching methodologies and assessment
The teaching methodology will be fundamentally based on individual work and research in order to elaborate plans, processes, and procedures of a company. In the theoretical classes will be approached the subjects related to the various functions of the management and the student must elaborate for a given company the documentation necessary for the organization and management of a company. The evaluation will be continuous and complemented with the evaluation of individual works that will require research and development of documents to support the daily management of a company. The continuing evaluation will include a mandatory work for all students including those who go to the exam, will have a weight of 60%, attendance (20%), attendance (10%) and participation (10%). Students going to the exam this will have a weight of 40% and a work of 60%.
