Prerequisites and co-requisites
The importance of individual and group motivation; Organizations, individuals and groups. Motivation and motivated behavior; Theories of Motivation; Motivation and Productivity; The essence of Leadership; The Leadership process; The evolution of Leadership theories; Leadership of teams and projects; The emergence of new concepts of Leadership.
As part of the motivation, to highlight the individual's interactions in increasingly diverse and demanding environments, to enhance individual capacities for effective performance and to adapt rewards according to needs. In the Leadership component, highlight the importance of the Leadership process in the success of the management of people and organizations, identify the different types of leadership and their effectiveness depending on the situations, take advantage of the transversal competences to relieve the communicability towards higher levels leadership.
Teaching methodologies and assessment
The methodology of teaching is based on an expositive logic in what concerns to the conceptual subjects, but the practical component is more developed as well as the attitudes of research and incorporation of personal and group experience are encouraged. Attendance and participation are fundamental to achieve the objectives of the discipline. The evaluation process consists of a test carried out in two hours (60% of the Final Frequency classification); Practical work, individual or group, (30% FF) and attendance with participation and oral intervention (10% FF).
