Objectives
Enhance skills of analysis and evaluation of ethical issues involved in the process of psychological assessment. Promote the acquisition of knowledge about the objectives, theoretical assumptions and
practical considerations arising from the the process of psychological assessment.
Teaching methodologies and assessment
The curricular unit involves teaching methodologies of expository, demonstrative and interrogative nature. The exposition of syllabus, held throughout the lectures, is complemented by practical exercises of Continuous assessment consists of: - A written test (60%); - An oral presentation based on written support. This work is carried out in small groups and aims to train psychological assessment skills, using psychological assessment methodologies and techniques, and is based on the literature review on the psychological assessment process (40%). The work has an individual component (20%) and a group component (20%). Attendance at classes is required. The time of appeal consists of a written examination with a weighting of 100% in the final grade, which will focus on all theoretical and practical content. As a final grade, the student must obtain a minimum
reflection and discussion.
