- Describe Fire Prevention and Extinction Processes; - Identify Materials, Systems and Fire Fighting Equipment; - Recognize the ratings of Reaction and Resistance to Fire; - Describe a Fire Safety Organization - Identify the objectives of the ATEX Directive; - Identify the characteristics of Confined Spaces; - Recognize the constituent parts of a Fire Safety Plan; - Identify the components of an Exercise Program; - Identify the stages of the Conception of an Exercise; - Interpret Simulation Reports.
Knowledge, abilities and skills to be acquired
At the end of the course, students will have complementary, necessary and sufficient knowledge of Integrated Safety in the field of Fire Prevention and Protection, which will allow them to better carry out the activities of Management and Direction of Safety in Companies and / or Organizations.
Teaching methodologies and assessment
In addition to the thematic presentations in the classroom, participatory methodologies will be used, together with discussion of the different programmatic contents. Exhibition in room; Discussion; Demonstration; Possible Study Visit; Continuous Assessment Sheets (50%, with a minimum grade of 6.51); Work (50%, with a minimum grade of 9.51); Final Exam with a minimum mark of 9.51 points.
