Conference Peer violence in academic settings
The objective is to raise students' awareness of peer violence in an academic context, promoting good practices of inclusion.
Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)
The conference is part of the Psychology Conference Series. It will address the definition of bullying and cyberbullying, types of violence and the role of bystanders, gender-based violence, discrimination against vulnerable groups (LGBTQIA+ individuals), as well as good inclusion practices from an intersectional perspective (e.g., Inclusive Language).
The speaker will be Bárbara Ferreira, who holds a Master’s degree in Psychology, with a specialization in Clinical and Health Psychology – Systemic and Family Psychotherapy, from the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Coimbra. She is also a Full Member of the Portuguese Psychologists Association. Since 2022, she has been collaborating with Associação Plano i, participating in various projects carried out in school settings, working in the areas of mental health promotion and the prevention of bullying, cyberbullying, and gender-based violence.
