Teaching methodologies and assessment
In continuous assessment and final exam, it is mandatory to attend at least 2/3 of lectures and 2/3 of seminars. Students with working status and others in similar condions, will be submitted to a supplementary evaluation to be defined by the professor. For passing continuous assessment, students must achieve a grade of 9.5 or higher on all assessments. The partial assessment obtained during the continuous assessment may be carried over to the examination scheme. In the event of non-approval of one of the practical or theoretical components, students may take only the missing component in the subsequent exam seasons of that school year.
Mid-term continuous assessment:
-Theoretical: 2 written tests
-Practical: 2 written tests and exercises in classes
It is considered approved the student who obtains a final grade of not less than 9.5 values in both components.
The final grade of the UC corresponds to the weighted average of the theoretical (50%) and practical (50%) evaluation.
