Presentation
Presentation
"Human rights have been over time, a sign of valuing human dignity as a presupposition of manifestation and increase of the most elementary principles of citizenship. However, despite this effort, as is apparent from history – including the most recent periods – the Human Being has not always been the target of the concerns of other Human Beings" (Campos, 2019, p.15).
The security of peoples and nations is part of the roadmap of the international community, in order to respect human rights. This UC arises from the increasing need to reflect and present assumptions, which highlight the need to combine efforts in order to promote international security, taking into account the different actors: political, economic, social, religious and security. All this only makes sense if it plays a leading role in promoting human dignity. O Jornalismo pode aqui contribuir para essa promoção da dignidade humana.
