Understanding of deformations and stress of columns and beams casused by temperature and external forces.

Teaching methodologies and assessment
Teaching methodologies and assessment
The teaching methodology is based on theoretical and practical exercises related to real structures, in order to motivate students and facilitate their understanding of basic structural concepts. Continuous evaluation with two tests throughout the semester. Approval implies 75% attendance. There is also a final exam for those not approved in the continuous evaluation.
