Class Structural Systems IV

Presize structures. Analyze simple hyperstatic structures. Identify soils and their characteristics. Know advanced structural solutions.

The contents are based on the study of:

-Bending in beams;

-Columns;

-Statically indeterminate Beams;

-Predimensioning;

-Safety and actions in buildings;

-Soil types and their behavior.

/ The syllabus will be provided to students using the documents in digital format by the teacher, accompanied with exercises taken from the bibliography.

The evaluation shall be made on the basis of a theoretical component. The theoretical evaluation will be processed through 2 (two) individual tests and with consultation. Students with rating equal to or greater than 10 examination-free values. The exam is a written test. Students shall be approved with not less than 10 note values.
