    This course trains professionals with in-depth knowledge of sustainability applied to the film and audiovisual industries. Through the integration of environmental management systems, restructuring of work processes, participants will learn to promote more sustainable practices. Complemented by case studies and a focus on effective communication, the course offers a holistic approach, considering the ethical, social and environmental dimensions of the industry.     Knowledge, abilities and skills to be acquired

    On completion of the Green Consultants Training, participants will: - Be equipped to lead sustainable transformations in film and audiovisual productions, achieving a positive impact on the environment and society. - Have the necessary skills to advise and support companies, institutions and production teams in implementing more sustainable practices. - Have the ability to prepare project reports with CO2e calculations - Strengthen their professional profile, becoming valuable assets for production companies seeking to align themselves with sustainability standards. - Contribute to a more environmentally aware and responsible film and audiovisual industry, promoting a greener future. - Know how to communicate and implement measures together with stakeholders and relevant departments, and validate these effects with an analysis. - Overall, this course empowers individuals to become agents of change, driving the sustainable transformation of film and audiovisual productions, while sharing their knowledge with others to create a ripple effect of positive change in the industry. Knowledge: - Structure and tasks of an environmental management system (EMS) - Certification systems (e.g. "Green Film", "Ecoprod Label") and guidelines for more sustainable audiovisual productions - Ability to identify hotspots and respective measures in a production by means of Target/Actual analysis, including CO2e calculations

    Professionals with practical experience in film and audiovisual departments, e.g. production direction/management/coordination, directing assistance, etc.
  • Observations

    Observations

    This training combines remote learning, self-study, project work and face-to-face sessions, over 16 weeks, in after-work hours. Module A - 8 Weeks - Presentation session (face-to-face - Lisbon) - Asynchronous online sessions - Individual online sessions to accompany practical work - Face-to-face phase: 3 days of project work. Module B - 8 Weeks - Weekly synchronous online sessions with experts in general sustainability notions and reporting, and specific sustainability notions in the production, art, lighting, wardrobe and post-production departments - Individual online sessions to accompany practical work - Individual project work - Delivery of a final project with an applied green shooting concept.
