    This Curricular Unit has as main objectives to provide the student with a set of methodological, technical, aesthetic and conceptual knowledge, necessary for the proper execution of projects of a Web nature, based on the Content Management System (CMS) Wordpress platform. The student must be able to apply, with aesthetic and conceptual coherence, the technical contents taught, taking into account the good practices of Design for the Web.

    Syllabus

    -Presentation of technical attributes of accessibility and usability, present in a web layout;
    -Stimulation of conceptual skills and project development;
    -Creative techniques and processes intrinsic to the creation and editing of digital images;
    -Creation of Web projects using Content Management System platforms.

  • Objectives

    Objectives

    It is intended that the student acquires essential skills to create visual content for interactive systems:
    -Graphic design applied to interactive systems and social networks;
    -Basic notions of visual composition, color and typography;
    -Reproduce digital image processing and editing techniques and processes;
    -Distinguish and know how to work with vector images and bitmaps;
    -Develop creative, conceptual and technical skills;
    -Adapt the design project to the intended target audience;

    At the end of the semester, the student is expected to acquire basic skills in the development of Web pages using CMS platforms (Wordpress):
    -Structure of a web page and its elements;
    -Main presentation and navigation strategies;
    -Management of files and external elements;
    -Develop skills in CMS systems (Wordpress).

  • Teaching methodologies and assessment

    Teaching methodologies and assessment

    Expository classes will be used to present the syllabus using audiovisual elements. Practical exercises will be given, using image editing software and Content Management System platforms, and a semester project will be developed with the professor assistance.
