    At the end of the course (based on an entertainment content brief for a television platform) it is expected that the student will be able to:

    -Define and graphically represent a coherent aesthetic unit in a project ( art dossier);

    -Implement different sets in the studio;

    -Build a physical scale model of the set(s);

    -Finding, adapting and building props and scenographic elements;

    -Finding and adapting clothing and accessories;

    -Doing hair and make-up;

    -Conducting costume, hair and make-up fittings and screen tests;

    -Setting up, dismantling and decorating sets according to the studio's set construction methods;

  • Teaching methodologies and assessment

    Teaching methodologies and assessment

    The teaching methodology emphasises collaborative practice and brainstorming through challenges set by the teacher, to be solved by graphic recording in files shared by the group(s). These challenges are analysed collectively in class and are designed to respond to the assimilation of theoretical knowledge and the design and development of the project (set, costume, hair and makeup design) for entertainment content - television platform. During the preparation and construction phase, the aim is for the students to understand the responsibilities of each position taken, but also to work as a group, so the methodology encourages teamwork. The methodology raises awareness of the topics presented and develops spaces for discussion and problem-solving through: key concepts, content resources, case studies, practical activities in the classroom and workshops.
