Teaching methodologies and assessment
The sound laboratory subject focuses mainly on practical activities, benefiting from several relevant methodologies to improve students learning experience. The most relevant:
- PBL projects (Program Based Learning);
- Students work on specific projects to develop individual skills in designing, editing and mixing sound.
- Collaborative learning
- Students are encouraged to work in groups to solve practical problems related to sound and improve their ability to respond to the proposed challenges,
- Collaboration encourages discussion and the exchange of ideas, promoting a deeper understanding of the concepts being taught.
- Formative and critical assessment
- Conducting regular assessments throughout the semester to track student progress and provide regular feedback,
- Identify areas of difficulty with the ability to adjust the program according to individual and group needs.
