Class Editing Workshop

  • Presentation

    Presentation

This curricular unit takes on themes developed in the first year of the course, particularly the disciplines Principles of Post-Production and Audiovisual and Cinematographic Creation Workshop I: Film Language and Narrative. In these disciplines, the technical bases of the editing process and the language of cinema are taught. Here we develop, in a laboratory environment, the practical and artistic application of the narrative potential intrinsic to film editing.

The conceptual and artistic component is developed from the editing processes associated with film language and the visual construction of narratives. There will be a particular focus on creative processes that we can identify in contemporary serialized content and advertising.

The discipline is associated with projects developed in Audiovisual and Cinematographic Creation Workshop III: Serialized Content and Production Workshop for Platforms III: Advertising.
