Acquiring knowledge of camera handling, image and sound capture are essential for the good development of learning throughout the course, as well as the manipulation of lighting devices in the photographic process. Learn to use a digital camera in all its components - mastery of the correct exposure of the image; domain to capture sound directly in the camera. Learn to maneuver the camera in recording situations - camera operation techniques and image composition. Learn how to use the camera to capture shots in a fictional environment. Acquire basic knowledge of lighting.

  • Objectives

    Objectives

    Apprehend the fundamental concepts of audiovisual terminology and apply the knowledge acquired. Get solid knowledge in the handling of the Digital Video camera. To aquire abilities to interpret the final image in the technical domain and know how to control all parameters for correct exposure of the digital image. Image capture techniques for cinematography as a technique for covering scenes in a fiction film envyroment. Learning meaning and the symbology of the different shot sizes and camera movement to be applied in a fiction film making. Film language.
  • Teaching methodologies and assessment

    Teaching methodologies and assessment

    The sessions will be carried out in a mix of theory and practice. Having a theoretical component accompanied by a practical component. In addition to attendance, there will be a workshop that will take place on weekends or public holidays and there will also be lectures with mandatory and optional attendance throughout the International Audiovisual week.
    Theoretical frequency with joint subject of the teachers; Assessment of the film across different disciplines and individual practical assignment.
    
    EVALUATION
    Continuous assessment, in force with the absences regime. More than 3 absences, the student must perform the exam.
    
    Frequency 40%
    Short Film 20%
    Practical assignment individual 40%
    
    APPEAL EXAM:
    The student has to perform the same components as in the frequency period.
