This is the Course that will seek to develop and exercise one of the key objectives in student training: introducing habits, procedures and techniques of investigation and planning, with scientific rigor and seriousness and, at the same time, stimulate the need and discuss scientific methods.
The realisation of the research paper requires the achievement of a bibliographical research that will define the rational theoretical work, the definition of a method, data collection, the analysis of the results, a discussion supported in theoretical rational followed and a conclusion. The research topics are inline with the current CIDEFES projects, such as LusofonATIVA, APTA, PAC-woman, among others.

Teaching methodologies and assessment
Orientation sessions will be held in mentoring scheme. The selection of mentors is through the application of research lines. The evaluation focuses on the development of a research project, as well as the writing of a paper reporting on the research, carried out in a group. Each group will be evaluated in 3 conferences by 1 arguente. Final products of the initial Conference: review literature base, objective and primary method (10000 characters) and Oral presentation. Conf.: critical review of the literature, and data collection method (20000 characters) and Oral presentation. Conf. final: results and discussion (50000) and Oral presentation. Final grade = 66% group + 33% individual contribution to the work. More detailed information about the different stages is presented in a document made available and worked with the students at the beginning of the school year. This document, by your extension, cannot be presented in this FUC.
