This UC finds its main reasons for pertinence and opportunity in the relevance of the scientific knowledge it transmits in all branches of the degree. The development of critical thinking, inquiring and observing society allows us to provide tools for contextualizing the reality of sport in changing societies and for deepening the transformations and trends of the current sports phenomenon through sociological knowledge of the various social realities that involve professionals in the field. of sport. It is intended that students analyze and understand essential aspects of the sporting experience in the light of sociology and, with this, that they acquire skills and competences for framing and understanding the action and social space where they will move within the scope of their professional activity.
