Teaching methodologies and assessment
In the discipline under analysis, theoretical-practical classes and practical classes are taught. At an organizational level, classes are structured in two parts: 1. Theoretical and theoretical-practical approach to a theme or gymnastic element(s); 2. Practical didactics. The thematic contents of practical didactics at a theoretical level are developed according to the following parameters: prerequisites, technique, progressions, characteristic errors, manual intervention, variants. The contents of practical didactics are addressed individually and in small groups. Continuous assessment consists of two components: 1. Theoretical, with the completion of works, forms and written test/frequency, with a weight of 40%; 2. Practice, with tests on different gymnastics equipment, acrobatics and manual intervention with a weight of 60%.
