Fitness II is part of a set of Curricular Units that aim to equip students with proper tools for future professional practice. The theoretical-practical knowledge inherent in these Course Unit will allow students, in a future professional context to prescribe group training programs for apparently healthy individuals, in strength (Localizada e Body Pump) and mind body environment (Posture & Flexibility e Body Balance).

Objectives
Objectives
The student should be able to use and integrate movement and music, according to different cadences.
The student should be able to describe and relate the different kind of exercises and the different goals
The student should be able to prescribe strength (Strenght Group Training/Body Pump) and flexibility/mobility (Mind & Body ¿ Posture & Flexibility e Body Balance) training
The student should be able to adopt the progressions in neuromuscular integration more appropriate to the context.

Theoretical-practical and practical classes (expository, experimentation, guided discovery and resolution of case studies).
Continuous evaluation: Localized / Body Pump (1st semester) Practical component (60%) - assessment of performance in activities of practical application of the program (two moments of Localized practical assessment and Body Pump, each component 9.5 points); mandatory 70% attendance Theoretical component (40%)-1 written exam
Posture & Stretching / Body Balance (2nd semester) Practical component (60%) - appreciation of performance in activities of practical application of the program (two moments of practical assessment Posture & Stretching and Body Balance, each component 9.5 points); mandatory 70% attendance Theoretical component (40%) -1 written exam None of the evaluations can have an evaluation lower than 9.5 values. Assessment by exam: Evaluation of theoretical components (written and oral). Assessment of practical components similar to continuous assessment.
