The aim of the UC of Tutoring Seminar is to continue the orientation given by the Orientation Seminar of the previous semester, with a focus on the follow-up of the literature review to be carried out to support the research question identified. At the end of UC students should: 1. Know the areas of knowledge to be mentioned in the literature review; 2. To have a bibliographic reference repository to be cited in the final text of the dissertation; 3. Have drafted a short-paper regarding the state of the art within the identified research question. 4.Ideally, have submitted the paper in a scientific event of the area under study.
Teaching methodologies and assessment
Classes: ¿Expositive sessions with the concepts, the definitions and the theoretical framework; ¿Sessions with exposition of literature reviews of research already done, either by professionals or by teachers; ¿Sessions with presentations by students, also from previous years, in order to stimulate the critical exchange of ideas on topics prepared by each one; Evaluation continues: The evaluation corresponds to an arithmetic average of three installments: ¿Participation in room (20%); ¿Writing of a short-paper (2 A4 pages) in the defined scope / theme (50%); Blind-review of a colleague's short-paper (30%). Exam Evaluation: It is intended for students who have not obtained a Continuous Assessment. Definition of the scope / subject to be investigated (40%). ¿Writing of a short-paper (2 A4 pages) in the defined scope / theme (60%).
