Syllabus
1. Training of communication skills (observation and implementation, psychologist / client, psychologist / team); 2. Assessment Practices in Cybertherapy and Neurocognitive Rehabilitation 3. Case study reports 4. Elaboration of the Internship Report.
Objectives
It is intended that students acquire work skills in the area of cybertherapy and neurocognitive rehabilitation. In this sense, students will be involved in the practice supervised essentially of activities of evaluation. Students will also be involved in activities of psychological and neuropsychological intervention depending on the context of the academic stage (LO2). Tasks performed under supervision should be specific acts of psychology and be appropriate to the objectives and mission of the institution. It is up to the student to adapt the acquired learning to the internship context. Parallel to this, the student is required to write internship, intermediate and final reports (LO3).
Teaching methodologies and assessment
The teaching methodologies consist of the expository (EM) and demonstrative (DM) method. Initially the methodologies are expositive of the initial points of the program. In the next phase of the CU will be developed the roleplaying training of the main communication skills. Throughout the training activities, the specific training will be developed in situations related to the different intervention contexts in cybertherapy and neurocognitive rehabilitation, where it will also be privileged the clinical discussion of cases. The evaluation of this curricular unit includes the elaboration of a internship reports, interim and final. The minimum attendance for the conclusion of this course is 75%. The approval of the CU depends on the assessment of the advisory teacher and after hearing the institutional advisor and will take into account the attendance and the final oral evaluation of the report of the internship before a jury according to the regulations of an internship seminar.
