Knowledge, abilities and skills to be acquired
To deepen skills in the production of documentary in a small team, through the practical experimentation of the various technical and artistic specialties involved. Development of the concept for a "WebDocumentary" series format aimed at distribution through the internet platform and group practice (2 or 3 students) of at least one pilot episode. Structuring of the thesis project.
Teaching methodologies and assessment
The discipline is theoretical and practical, so there will be alternation between expository, demonstrative and participatory methods in the presentation of the programmatic contents. The topic "Analysis" comprises the commented view of several and abundant examples of films and formats with relevance in contemporary documentary, using audiovisual and multimedia. The topic "Laboratory" includes the realization of specific projects, to be developed individually and in groups. The evaluation is continuous and considers the attendance, the qualitative participation in the classes, the performance in the execution of the practical work, as well as its final result, corresponding report and discussion between teacher and students.
