CeiED Promotes Interaction Between Students and Coordinators
FishBowl Activity Highlights ReLeCo Organization and Projects
29.07.24 - 09h40With the aim of introducing students to the research structure and organization of the Research and Learning Communities (ReLeCo), the Centre for Interdisciplinary Studies in Education and Development (CeiED) promoted the activity “FishBowl: what are CeiED's Research and Learning Communities?” on July 19.
Moderated by students, the event was attended by the coordinators of the ReLeCo, organized around the following areas of specialization and research interests: Public Policies and Governance in Education; Memory, Citizenship and Sociomuseology; Socio-Artistic Studies for Decoloniality and Sustainability; Teacher Education; Teacher Professionalism and Identities; Learning and Innovation; Social and Educational Mediation.
The ReLeCo are fundamental to CeiED's mission, bringing together researchers and students to discuss and present research work, as well as organizing and promoting scientific initiatives. Each community develops a comprehensive work program that includes publications, R&D (Research and Development) initiatives and projects, as well as a robust mentoring program, providing support to young researchers in their Master's and PhD projects and in their career development.
The ReLeCo coordinators stressed the importance of a collaborative environment for scientific production and ongoing support for researchers in training. During the FishBowl activity, students had the opportunity to interact directly with the coordinators, gain a better understanding of the thematic areas of each ReLeCo and learn about the objectives and focus of the communities.
The event highlighted CeiED's commitment to promoting a stimulating academic environment that not only encourages research and innovation, but also promotes the professional development of its students and researchers.
With initiatives such as these, CeiED continues to strengthen its position as a center of excellence in research and education, preparing the next generation to face contemporary challenges with knowledge and innovation.
