FilmEU at the Berlinale with CRESCINE

Project intends to increase the competitiveness of European cinema in small markets.

Manuel Damásio as coordinator of FilmEU and Principal researcher for Horizon project “CRESCINE - Increasing the competitiveness of European Film Industry in small Markets” participated, along with representatives of other institutions participating in Crescine but also in FilmEU, in a round table on the future contributions of this project held during the Industry conferences at the Berlinale – The Berlin Film Festival - last February 21st. The round table was an excellent opportunity to present this ambitious project before an audience of industry professionals and other stakeholders that had a firsthand contact with the goals and ambitions of CRescine. The project will officially start on the 1st of March and it’s one of the spearhead projects in FilmEU COSMOS research strategy.

Participants in the round table were:

  • Manuel Damasio Head of the Film and Media Arts Department, Universidade Lusófona and Coordinator of CRESCINE
