Awareness on Waste Separation
Awareness action was carried out by the Faculty of Engineering of Universidade Lusófona.
On June 8, under the Faculty of Engineering's application to the Eco-Schools program and with the aim of promoting Training/Awareness for proper waste management/separation on the university campus, two on-site training sessions were held for the cleaning services of the Lusófona University of Humanities and Technologies.
Cândida Rocha, professor at the ULHT Engineering Faculty and her Master's Degree student in Environmental Engineering, Bruno Dionísio, explained to 20 employees various concepts of waste management and good practices that can be applied on a day-to-day basis. day and in the context of work.
The support for the organization of the actions had the help of Eng. Ricardo Pina and the contents of the training focused mainly on the importance of correct waste management and how we can all contribute to a good preparation for recycling.
A clean environment is not the one that cleans itself the most. But the least dirty.
