Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Study of dynamic and electro-static transduction systems; 2. Timbre creation via preamplification and dynamic signal processing systems; 3. Capture techniques for stereo and multichannel reproduction; 4. Surround microphones and recording for immersive sound contexts (cinema / television); 5. Specificities associated with the recording of musical instruments (varied); 6. Multi-channel capture for orchestral groupings and combos; 7. Advanced recording and recording techniques for sound design.
The discipline defines as a general objective the study of recording equipment and the various techniques of sound capture in the context of the development of audiovisual and musical projects. The aim is to consolidate new skills associated with the latest recording technologies and methodologies and to create the conditions to stimulate new technical and artistic approaches in order to increase the expressive power of audio discourse in the context of the media arts.
