Ph.D. in Health Sciences (Nutrition) from the Universidad de Alcalá, Madrid, Spain (2022). Postgraduate degree in Metabolic Diseases and Eating Behavior from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon (2013). Degree in Nutrition Sciences from the Atlantic University (2013). Post-graduation in Management from Nova School of Business and Economics (2003). Degree in Chemical Engineering (pre-Bologna) from Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon (1992). Director of the Master in Clinical Nutrition at Lusófona University, School of Health Sciences and Technologies, since 2023. Auxiliar Professor at Lusófona University, School of Health Sciences and Technologies, since 2014, in the degrees of Bachelor in Nutrition Sciences, Master in Clinical Nutrition, Master in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Master in Health Products and Food Supplements. Member of CBIOS (Research Center in Biosciences and Technologies, Lusófona University) since 2017, developing research studies focused on the impact of functional foods on human health and disease. Experience in the clinical area of Nutrition since 2013.
