Objectives
To provide students with the necessary tools for an interpretation and analysis of the legal norms concerning both Corporate Law and Labor Law, for an adequate contextualization to the realities, through study and its application to concrete cases.
Knowledge, abilities and skills to be acquired
- Develop a coherent theoretical body on matters involving Business Law and Labor Law, with a view to an adequate interpretation of the norms and the essential aspects that form these two disciplines of Law. - Promote the acquisition of skills throughout life.
Teaching methodologies and assessment
Teaching method: Lectures - Presentation of reference materials; - Participation of the students in the discussion and critical analysis of the issues identified in the various issues that have been posed during the semester, as well as analysis of regulations of the Portuguese Republic Constitution, Civil Code, Commercial Code, Commercial Companies Code and Labor Code. Students will be instructed to read the recommended bibliography in advance and to participate actively in the discussions of the subjects under review. Assessment Method: The evaluation will be continuous and will be based on: - Attendance and participation in classes, including participation in the discussion of the individual works presented by the students (20%); two evaluation tests, respectively of Business Law and Labor Law (40% / each test, total 80%). Final written examination, in accordance with the rules established in the ULHT Evaluation Regulations
