Public International Law
Presentation
Public International Law is part of the legal universe, presenting autonomy vis-à-vis other areas of law. It has specific characteristics, identifying itself with a normative construction necessary for the understanding of all states, hence its distinction with domestic law (the law proper to each state). Initially, international law was seen as a law of war and a law of peace, with its evolution following World War I, international law extended its scope from the continental or regional international legal framework to the framework of international activities. covering various areas in the economic, social and cultural sectors.
