Objectives
- To understand the strategic dimension of the Human Resources Management. To interpret the cultural, economic, technological and legal scope of the Human Resources functions.
- To understand that good Human Resources Management, as a key asset to the organizations, involves a plurality of knowledge and sensitivities towards the goals set by the company.
- To understand the evolution of the main theoretical currents in Human Resources Management. The importance and integration of this in the other parts of the organization.

- To understand that any organization requires increasingly more competent experts for the Management of its Human Resources.
- To acquire new management techniques of work teams. The management of people in view to a better organizational performance and the personal fulfillment of its members.
- To acquire the ability to adapt to the diversity of the organizational contexts.

Teaching methodologies and assessment
Presentation of the material and contextualization of concepts and problems by the teacher, accompanied by presentation and discussion of works by students, as well as the preparation of a written and oral report presented by students on themes relevant to the program.
1. Continuous assessment (participation of students in class - attendance and quality of interventions) of knowledge is made on an individual basis, expressed in a classification from 0 to 20. Obtaining a rating equal to or higher than 10 is considered successful.
2. Classic Evaluation - If a student has failed in one assessment. (score below 10 points), they may sit a "final exam".
A student who has not opted for continuous assessment may sit the examination.
