Syllabus
1- Introduction 2- Quantification of economic activity 3- Aggregate demand, Yeld and equilibrium product 3.1. The simple Keinesian model; 3.2. Introduction of the state in the model; 4- IS/LM model. Aggregate demand and supply curves 5- Open economy with fixed prices. 6- Agregate supply, inflation and unemployment
Objectives
. Fournish theoretical fundamental knowledge in macroeconomics, highligting the questions and short run models, including the relation between the efectiv product and potential product, showing the relation between inflation and unemployment and the tendency of economic growth and the economic cycle.
Teaching methodologies and assessment
Theoretical and practical classes with total of 60 hours. Presence in class: students must be presence in 75 % of class. Evaluation: Two knowledge assessment test each one with 50 % In accordance with the evaluation regulation of ECEO the approval in the discipline is with equal or above 10 points. The students that have lower than 10 points, in continuous evaluation, have to do a final exam. This weight 100%.
