The curricular unit - Organizational Behavior Structures and Processes - aims to theoretically master and know how to use the explanatory models of conflict, negotiation and power behavior, as well as the structural factors and the individual, group and organizational processes that condition them; Identify the main concepts inherent to these same phenomena in professional contexts.
Teaching methodologies and assessment
The classes will be theoretical and practical, using an expository methodology for the presentation of the subject, later supported on a methodology of student work in the application of the concepts acquired in case studies with the purpose of consolidating knowledge. In practical classes: - simulation of conflict and negotiation situations and their analysis and critical comment; - elaboration by the students of organigrams of some organizations existing in our country, based on the criteria underlying the graphic presentation of them; - case studies that show organizational culture, power, leadership, and political behaviors considered appropriate and those to be avoided according to the guidelines of each organization. The process of continuous assessment - two tests (70%) and Practical Work (30%).
