Presentation
Allow understanding the organizational dynamics in the face of organizational and environmental challenges. Identify signs of change that allow you to seize new business opportunities. Be able to understand the change process. Understand the main forces of change and the aspects that characterize planned change. It is a UC that provides students with knowledge of different theoretical models of change and organizational development and the processes of change and organizational development.

Organizational change The concept of organizational change and its manifestation in organizations; The engines and triggers of organizational change; Nature and types of organizational change. Organizational Diagnosis, Incident Focuses, Surroundings and organizational structure; Organizational strategy and technology (processes); Culture and organizational climate; Individual, group and organizational behaviors; Leadership and organizational systems. Some conceptual models for organizational diagnosis: Breakpoints (P. Strebel); Stream Analysis (J. Porras); Life cycle (L. Greiner) Cultural typologies (K. Cameron & R. Quinn); Appreciative Inquiry (D. Cooperrider). Implementation and change management - Context and content; Models of organizational change: 3 states of K. Lewin and 8 steps of J. P.Kotter. ; The essence of leadership as a driving factor in organizational change.
Objectives
Identify the organizational diagnostic models that can be used -Characterize the different approaches to organizational change. -To diagnose an organization using the models / techniques studied. - Know and state the most recommended DO techniques in each case. - Know how to design and propose a project for change and organizational development.
Teaching methodologies and assessment
Theoretical-practical classes that present the concepts, principles and essential theories about change and organizational development. The debate on case studies that illustrate the subject matter in the theoretical classes, the reality of the organizations is promoted. Individual and team work will be carried out, under the teacher's guidance, and will be presented and debated case in national and international context for the identification and development of critical competences.
