The contents have two aspects: the first refers to the utopian proposals for educational spaces for children that emerged in Europe after the Industrial Revolution: R. Owen (1771-1858), C. Fourier (1772-1837), J.-B. Godin (1817-1888); or the notions and ideas of children's pedagogy, since F. Fröbel (1782-1852), M. Montessori, (1782-1852), J. Deus Ramos (1878 -1953), F. Tonucci (b. 1940); on the other hand, they refer to the influences that those ideas had on buildings of the 20th century, intended for early childhood education. The second aspect refers the correlation of the following domains in the design of a varied set of references of architecture of the 20th and 21st centuries, and of contemporary buildings with programs aimed at early childhood education: 1- Program, Functional Organization, Composition, Form and Construction, 2 - Implementation. Building / place interaction; Building / public space interaction, 3 - Architectural Design: space, structure and materiality.
