    Syllabus

    In this curricular unit, the student shall develop skills in the area of direction of actors through the introduction to
    the actors¿ resources, direction styles, script analysis, casting, decoupage and mise-en-scène.

    - Casting
    - Script analysis and research (exercises)
    - Visualization work (decoupage, mise-en-scène) (exercises)
    - Rehearsals (exercises)

  • Objectives

    Objectives

    At the end of CU, students should be trained for the different stage of directing performance, recognizing the various methods of working with actors, casting strategies, ability to analyze the dramaturgy of the texts, visualization for shooting screen and ability to communicate with the performer.

    Exercises, rehearsals and research work.
    - Continuous assessment (participation in classes and homework): 30%
    - Final paper I (presentation): 30%
