Presentation
Change management in organizations, in its various dimensions and impacts - individual, group and organizational. Critical in the current context of the volatility of society and the economy. It enhances the adaptation of individuals to changes in organizations and the constant adaptation of organizations to the economy, enhancing sustainability. Organizational change implies integrated management of different concepts and a dialogue with several interlocutors, in a highly complex framework. This UC prepares students for intervention in this area.

Objectives
Pretende-se que os estudantes desenvolvam um conhecimento aprofundado sobre os processos individuais, grupais e organizacionais que ocorrem nas organizações. Além deste conhecimento, a UC tem como objetivo proporcionar aos estudantes a aprendizagem de metodologias de diagnóstico e de intervenção em sistemas e subsistemas organizacionais bem como a aquisição e treino de competências específicas nesta área. No final do semestre, os estudantes devem poder: - Conhecer e distinguir os processos individuais, grupais e organizacionais - Conhecer metodologias de diagnóstico organizacional e saber como aplicá-las - Definir estratégias de intervenção organizacional - Avaliar e reportar os dados relevantes recolhidos nas fases de diagnóstico e de intervenção. - Identificar a necessidade de adaptação e mudança constantes para prossecução dos objetivos organizacionais e das pessoas envolvidas nesses sistemas
Teaching methodologies and assessment
Exposition theoretical contents of the various themes, presentation and discussion of practical exercises. 60% contact hours - exposure to theoretical content and 40% - activities training, technical skills and teamwork (group dynamics).
Continuous assessment: group work project intervention in organization, written report (35%); individual quiz's multiple choice (3) (15%); class participation, which includes participation in debates and case discussion (presented in written, digital or video format) and presentation of discussion materials (10%); 2 individual written development tests (20%); oral assessment with questions about the intervention project (20%).
Attendance at classes is required. Performance at different assessment times is expected to ensure the acquisition of skills required for UC approval.
Final written exam (100%). The theoretical and practical contents are evaluated in the exam. Approval with 10 values.
