Engineering Professor Receives Manuel Rocha Award
Carlos Matias Ramos, was one of the winners in the Personality Award category.

The auditorium of the National Laboratory of Civil Engineering (LNEC) received the ceremony commemorating the 75th anniversary of that Laboratory, in the context of which the Manuel Rocha Prize was awarded, created in 2003 by the Portuguese Geotechnical Society.
Carlos Matias Ramos, Professor at the Faculty of Engineering of Lusófona University, was one of the recipients in the Personality Award category, for having distinguished exceptionally in research activities in civil engineering.
The session was attended by President Fernando de Almeida Santos and the Secretary of State for Housing, Marina Gonçalves.
