SPCV Awards Ceremony
Prize giving to the best students of the Integrated Master in Veterinary Medicine.
21.11.22 - 15h36On October 21, the Awards Ceremony was held for some of the best students in the country, of the Integrated Master in Veterinary Medicine.
The Lusófona University received, in the Agostinho da Silva Auditorium, the Portuguese Society of Veterinary Sciences together with some students, professors and their families.
The event had as guest speaker Professor Carlos Penha Gonçalves, principal investigator of the Instituto Gulbenkian de Ciência, who shared a little about his journey and involvement with Veterinary Medicine, as well as his relationship with the Coordination of the Vaccination Plan against the covid-19.
The awarded students were guided by Professor Maria dos Anjos Pires, the first female president of the SPCV, who spoke about the new challenges.
In addition to the tribute paid to the students, the Awards Ceremony recognized the importance of the work carried out by professors and researchers from the Portuguese Society of Veterinary Sciences, over the years, in Portugal.
