The first 25 years at the service of Higher Education in Portugal
Background to the creation and development of the Lusófona University's educational project.
21.11.22 - 15h49The launch of the book “Lusófona University - The first 25 years at the service of Higher Education in Portugal”, by Nuno Martins Ferreira, historian and university professor, took place on October 26 at the Auditorium Agostinho da Silva.
The event featured a presentation by the former Minister of Education, Doctor Eduardo Marçal Grilo, an intervention by the President of COFAC, Prof. Doctor Manuel de Almeida Damásio, the Representative of Lusófonas University Editions and also the author Nuno Martins Ferreira.
“Education as a fundamental value for quality of life” was one of the topics addressed, as well as the research carried out by Nuno Martins Ferreira to write the book, at the invitation of Prof. Doctor Manuel de Almeida Damásio, who according to the author “served in a way, to give legitimacy to the educational project that since its creation dealt with the need for affirmation as Private Higher Education in Portugal”
