Wireless Power Transfer for Biomedical Applications

Wireless power transfer (WPT) has recently received a considerable attention by researchers owing to the potential applications of this technology, used to charge and/or power appliances which range from electrical vehicles to portable electronic equipment and implantable medical devices. WPT biomedical systems have shown to be a promising application for this type of technology, since they can improve the diagnosis and treatment of certain medical conditions.
