The “Building Knowledge” project began more than 20 years ago and its evolution and recognition results from the integration of different scientific areas of secondary education and its constant adaptation to the curricular programs and the innovation of the activities to be carried out.
It is aimed at students in the 10th, 11th and 12th years, in different scientific areas of secondary education and offers students a series of practical activities in the areas of Chemistry, Biotechnology, Environment, Genetics, Medicine and Management.
The project has the collaboration of the Faculty of Engineering and the School of Psychology and Life Sciences of the Universidade Lusófona Humanidades e Tecnologias and also with the collaboration of the Escola Superior de Saúde Ribeiro Sanches, which organize activities of a laboratory nature, in different areas of knowledge.
Sessions last two hours for each group of 15 students, totaling four hours for a class with a maximum of 30 students.
