    Syllabus (S):

    S1: Fundamental concepts, historical background and objectives of organizational crisis management;

    S2: Types and elements of crises, crisis and risk management and, cause and consequence of crisis management;

    S3: Models of threats and errors;

    S4: Model of planning and crisis management in aeronautics and phases of crisis management;

    S5: Team Resource Management (CRM);

    S6: Crisis management and leadership;

    S7: Planning and decision making in crisis management;

    S8: Communication in crisis situations;

    S9: Business continuity plan and organizational resilience;

    S10: National and international regulation on crisis management in aeronautics.

    Objectives

    Learning Objectives (LO):

    LO1: To make students aware of the importance and objectives of crisis management in modern organizations and its impact;

    LO2: Understand the typology, causes and errors of aeronautical crises;

    LO3: Train students to visualize the models and phases in the management of an aeronautical crisis;

    LO4: Enable students to build and lead a Crisis Management team;

    LO5: Train students with skills associated with communication in crisis management;

    LO6: Enable students to understand the various dimensions that are associated with organizations' resilience;

    LO7: Train students to understand national and international regulations on aeronautical crisis management and implement a crisis management plan.
