Taking into account the cycle of studies in Human Resources Management, this curricular unit assumes a relevant role in understanding the complex phenomena of economic theory that will serve as support in the decision making at the level of human resources.

    Objectives

    To teach concepts and basic relations of microeconomics and macroeconomics, with a view to the acquisition of knowledge conducive to the application of this knowledge in the resolution of concrete problems, both theoretical and practical. It is also intended to equip students with a critical spirit in relation to economic problems and the capacity for analysis and informed discussion of the problem. It is intended, on the part of the students: - Openness to scientific knowledge. - Demonstration of general culture in economics concepts. - Economic analysis of factors related to human resources.
