Class Project

Developing research work either on a significant field of action or intervention area from Industrial Engineering and Management, supporting the respective work based on an application in a real-world problem, be it either in the design or consolidated phase.

Research in the knowledge areas of Industrial Engineering and Management, including the identification of the relevant field of application, over which students should carry out:

• Research on the relevant bibliography;
• Discuss and make conclusions on the state-of-the-art of the field and future research trends;
• Identify and select entities where students can validate the conclusions drawn from the literature and research work;
• Collect data;
• Apply scientific methods;
• Analyse results;
• Draw conclusions and recommendations for action.

Ongoing and recurrent interaction between the student and his/her supervisor.

• Toda a bibliografia das disciplinas da especialidade, bem como quaisquer outros trabalhos e publicações produzidas sobre o tema em estudo.
• Documentação relevante cedida pela empresa onde o trabalho é realizado, sempre que aplicável.
