Class Project I

It is intended that the student at the end of the unit of Project I can be able to:

• Understand the basic principles of research methodology;
• To know the bibliographic databases online;
• Understand the various stages of the Scientific Research process, from the formulation of the question to the dissemination of results;
• Know the various formats of scientific publication;
• Understand the structure of a scientific article and identify the various types of articles published in scientific journals;
• To know the most important scientific journals in Nutrition Sciences and to understand the quality criteria;
• Acquire skills to present results in scientific meetings, in the form of an abstract, poster and oral communication;
• To know the norms of bibliographical references;
• Acquire capabilities for the use of organizational software and management of bibliographic references in research.
• To be able to produce original scientific work in nutrition sciences field
