Objectives
Objectives
- To understand the distinction and articulation between the three levels of intervention: individual, group and community;
- To provide the acquisition of knowledge (historical, theoretical and methodological) on the particularities of the community intervention process;
- To learn to characterize the community, understand the forces at work, the convergent and opposite dynamics in order to elaborate and update the diagnosis;
- To develop professional skills for intervention in communities;
- To learn to develop community intervention projects.

Teaching methodologies and assessment
Teaching methodologies and assessment
Teaching: It will be used expository, interrogative and participatory methodologies through debates promotion from texts, examples of community intervention projects, interaction with professionals working in community projects and/or carrying out study visits. Students are expected to present group work, using new technologies and focusing on the development of oral skills and rules for the presentation of works.
Assessment: The assessment will be continuous, based on the following elements: 1) Written individual test (55%); 2) Group work with presentation and oral discussion in the classroom (35%); 3) Participation in classes (10%). The grade of each of the elements must be greater than or equal to 9,5 points. The appeal exam will consist in a written test (100%), with a minimum grade for approval is 9,5 points.
