Class Foundations

This course aims to provide students with the most sophisticated calculation tools to analyze and design all types of shallow and deep foundations for buildings, bridges and retainig walls.

The teaching methodology consists of theoretical and theoretical-practical classes. In theoretical classes, topics are approached from a conceptual point of view, with theoretical-practical resolution of simple cases. In theoretical-practical classes, constant exercises are solved in the exercise sheets made available at the beginning of the academic year, in order to interconnect theoretical concepts with practice.
